about jess —

Jessica Altchiler made her professional debut as the Dance Captain/Swing for the Fiddler on the Roof 1st National Tour (Bartlett Sher, Hofesh Schecter) where she covered 8 roles as an actor, singer, and dancer, including the principal role of Chava. After the pandemic, she was asked to return as the Assistant Choreographer where she joined the creative team in bringing the tour back to life.

During this production, Jessica met Shelley Butler who first hired her as the Assistant Director for the Nashville, Tennessee world premiere of May We All: A New Country Musical (Florida Georgia Line, Lively McCabe Entertainment, BGM Music). Jessica was then brought on as Associate Director for Cinderella at Geva Theater Center in Rochester, NY.

During this work in theater, Jessica was training in acting and made her screen debut playing the supporting role of Brandi Boardman in the upcoming feature film Candlewood. She has supported students and colleagues in preparing for musical theater and TV/Film auditions and roles and is above all, a deeply committed and passionate teacher.
